Oakridge Auction Gallery presents our first auction of 2022 featuring 453 lots of antiques, art, and collectibles the sale begins with our American and European items. The second half of the sale transitions into our Japanese and Chinese works. The auction will be held exclusively online Friday, February 11, 2022 at 9 am EST.
The American and European section of the sale begins with our antique toys, dolls, advertising and country store items. The selection is headlined by a New Old Stock porcelain enamel roof sign from Little Tavern Restaurants, circa 1960. We have a wide selection of historical pieces including maps, presidential autographs and more. This is followed by Militaria and haute couture pieces including furs, clothing, accessories, and jewelry. Next up is our selection of fine crystal and glassware that includes pieces by Waterford and Steuben in addition to cut and pressed glass works. Our sale also features a small selection of antique furniture. A highlight of this section is a Baltimore secretary, circa 1825. Next up we have paintings and prints followed by a selection of pottery and porcelain to round out the American and European selections.
As our sale transitions into the Asian lots we begin with Japanese bronzes, woodblocks, and porcelains. The sale finale features our Chinese art, which includes jades dating from the Ming dynasty, snuff bottles, paintings, porcelains, and more.
